Celebrating Molly Meldrum

97817601120592014 is a huge year for Molly Meldrum, not only is he celebrating FIFTY years in the entertainment industry, it’s also FORTY years since Countdown premiered on ABC TV! And after 35 years of writing notes and over 15 years working with co-author Jeff Jenkins, Molly has FINALLY finished his memoir The Never, Um, Ever Ending Story! Now Molly and Countdown are being inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame – the first non-recording artist to be granted this honour!

With Molly on tour this week, two special ABC shows on Countdown next month, and with a weekend of TV programming coming up in December celebrating Molly’s 50 year anniversary featuring documentaries, interviews, Countdown retrospectives and more – Molly is going to be everywhere in coming months! Then next year we can look forward to a mini-series based on Molly’s Countdown years being screened on the 7 Network, based on the outrageous tales from his memoir, we can’t wait!
